2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website. They allow your browser to be recognized on your next visit, save settings, or provide specific functions – such as the shopping cart.
In addition to cookies, we use comparable technologies, such as pixels (small graphics that register the loading of a page) and your browser's storage technologies (local storage, session storage). When we speak of "cookies" in this policy, these technologies are included.
Cookies are distinguished by their origin and storage duration:

Technically necessary – The shop will not function without these cookies. They enable the shopping cart, the ordering process, logging into a customer account, country and currency settings, security functions, and the storage of your cookie choices. These cookies cannot be opted out of.

7. Granting, changing, and withdrawing consent

You can change your selection or withdraw your consent at any time:

- by deleting the cookies in your browser – the banner will reappear on your next visit.
The withdrawal of consent takes effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected.

Some of the mentioned providers (e.g., Shopify, Google, Meta, TikTok) process data outside the EU or the EEA, particularly in the USA. Transfers take place based on an adequacy decision of the EU Commission (e.g., for providers certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework), based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or – provided you have consented to the use of a service – based on your consent pursuant to Art. 49 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. 10. Your rights
You have the right to access the data stored about you, as well as to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interest; you may withdraw granted consents at any time. Furthermore, you may file a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach.
