Founder Azya sees herself as an ambassador for her African homeland. The pure passion and love, the pride in her own roots, the knowledge of being a unique individual on this wonderful earth, are palpable in each of her fragrances. Her own perfume brand is a homage to her culture and joie de vivre, but also a bow to the primal forces of nature, to the beauty and richness of the whole world.
Azya comes from the nomadic Afar people. She was born in Eritrea, the daughter of a judge, and grew up in Ethiopia and Djibouti on the Horn of Africa. The intensity and joy of life, as well as the breathtaking nature of Africa, have shaped Azya since her childhood and are an integral part of her creations.
